Meteorological Officer Grade C41 responsible for issuing weather forecasts, issuing warnings, monitor and release earthquake and tsunami information so that property damage and loss of life can be reduced, analyze changes in weather conditions professionally and identify impact as well as how to reduce the impact, analyze weather survey charts and conduct research on weather phenomenon to reduce the impact of bad weather. Provides quality advisory services efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs and stakeholders' expectations for increase the socio-economic activities of the people and the state.

Provides the Aerodrome Forecast Terminal (TAFOR) for flight operations.

Analyze weather survey charts, prepare brief reports synoptic conditions and briefing the weather.

Monitor weather changes from satellite images, radar echoes and hourly weather reports from stations across the country and issue adverse weather advisories or warnings when needed.

Issuing all scheduled weather forecasts in a timely manner and issuing special weather forecasts as requested by users including the Disaster Management Committee and mass media.

Provide weather briefings to the District Disaster Committee when needed.
